Foundation of LEDworx®

LEDworx® GmbH was founded in 2005 and is since then engaged in the development and sale of innovative LED lighting.

Research and development in the technically essential areas of thermal management, electronics and optics characterized the first years of the company’s development.

By 2008, the first international lighting projects were realized in parallel with basic research work, bringing the development results directly to bear in real-world applications.

Based on the experiences gained from basic research over the previous years, the focus of the Company’s activity was directed to the development of large-scale lighting products with an emphasis on LED street lighting and large-scale lighting systems for industrial applications.
